The focus of the energy assessment program is on providing no-cost energy assessments to small businesses, agricultural producers, and non-profit entities. We also assist eligible entities in preparing USDA Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) grant applications. We've had some great success, which is shown on our Map and Results page.
You are eligible for assistance if you are located in Kansas and are an agricultural producer, small business, or non-profit. Small businesses must meet the definition of a "small business" under the Small Business Administration size standards. Not sure what your NAICS code is to determine if you're a small business? Search for it on the U.S. Census Bureau's website.
You are eligible for the USDA REAP grant if you are an agricultural producer or a rural small business. To qualify as rural, the facility must be located in a rural area in Kansas (a city or town with a population of 50,000 or less). You can check on the USDA website to see if your location qualifies as rural. Still not sure if you qualify? Check out our Frequently Asked Questions or contact us for more information.
We have the experience and expertise you need to successfully navigate a tricky grant application. When you have ideas on how to save costs and cut energy, the last thing you need is a difficult application process. We can walk you through this process and work with government entities on your behalf.
All at no cost, we’ll do the following:
Basically, we take what is normally a daunting and time-consuming process out of your hands, so that you can run your business.
