Students can explore solar, wind, and water energy by building a windmill, sail car, wind-powered water lift, hydroelectric generator, hydro car, grist mill, solar car, crank wheel, and shuttle ride! It comes with a teacher guide and allows up to 3 models at a time.
Power an electrical circuit by solar panel or a wind tunnel! Generate hydrogen through water electrolysis and convert it into electricity using a PEM fuel cell. Ability for 9 different experiments and 10 class periods.
NOTE: During KidWind season (January through early April), schools participating in the KidWind Challenge are given priority and it is on a first-come, first-served basis. Make sure to submit your request to borrow a wind tunnel as soon as possible. Each coach will be able to check out a wind tunnel for 2 weeks.
