  • 2025 KidWind Reimbursement Request Form [Fillable PDF]
  • 2024 IRS Blank W-9 Form [PDF] This form will be used for the 2025 KidWind season.

Equipment

  • KidWind Basic Wind Experiment Kit
    • This is a good starting place for the KidWind Challenge. Contact KEP if needing one - we have a limited number. 
  • KidWind Generators
    • This is the only part required to be used in your turbine. KEP will provide one generator per team at no charge. Generators can be purchased online for $7.
  • GoDirect Energy Sensor
    • These are available for loan through KEP and are also included when borrowing a wind tunnel. Instructions for using the sensor (how it's used at the competition) [PDF]
    • Download Graphical Analysis software [external link]
  • Wind Tunnels
    • These are available for loan through KEP and also include a GoDirect Energy Sensor, anemometer, and water weights.
    • Tunnels will be loaned out on a first-come, first-served basis for short periods of time to help KEP serve as many teams as possible.
